Acne and Vitamin Supplements
For years, scientists, doctors, Biologist, dermatologists, dieticians and searched and studied the various causes of acne. Since most of the world's population suffer from acne at any time in life, it is not surprising that these measures are invested in the search for him. While there has been no definitive answer on whether acne is caused by hormones (yes), and what can be done to avoid that (prescription drugs, certain herbal remedies, etc), there are still many unknown factors that cause acne. But of all the many issues that acne is the science of finding answers to the most controversial is not the diet have an effect on acne. Historically, the scheme was considered to be associated with acne. Doctors and housewives who believe that a high fat content in food is causing skin oilier, and this in turn lead to violations acne. But, as in this passage of time, science has found no direct link between a diet rich in lipids (fats), and acne. Since acne is caused by a bacterial growth in oil trapped in the pores close, there is no such thing as the secretion of extra oil. Thus, at least in the past 15 years, Western medicine has argued that there was no link between diet and acne. But a study conducted in 1997 has rekindled the flame in the diet causes Acne argument, and this time with a little more heat. The study, conducted by Dr. Iskandar Hung Leung, said that acne breaks because the body can not produce a sufficient quantity of coenzyme A to break down the fatty acids that create sebum. The reason is, coenzyme A is probably the greatest need for enzymes in the body. Ce-Coenzyme A is the synthesis of sex hormones, and thus break the fatty acids. The only part of coenzyme A-like body does not produce itself is vitamin B5. Therefore, if there is a shortage of B5, there is a shortage of Coenzyme-A. And if there is a shortage of Coenzyme-A, the body synthesize hormones, not break the fatty acids. So you can see how it goes? More fatty acids, more sebum production, more acne. Now, it is interesting is that Dr Leung Hung bed this request is supported by the testimony of 100 people. The group found 10 grams or more per day of pantothenic acid (B5), and call for an B5 cream 20% weight. After 2-3, sebum production is reduced, and many people with acne noticed a reduction of poverty. For the most extreme acne, a higher dose of B5 was used (about 15-20 grams per day), and the treatment was extended to see an effect, sometimes up to 6 months. So even if a study does not prove definitively whether B5 can prevent or reduce acne, which May be worth considering, especially for those who want a herbal or natural treatments for acne, and not want to use chemicals such as benzoyl peroxide or other treatments for the Acne prescription. As with any medical treatment, it is best to consult a doctor before trying a B5 my direction.
